About Our Cottages
Downe Cottages are set in a beautiful cottage courtyard surrounded by lawns and fields that run down to the cliffs of the Hartland Peninsula.
We regret that we do not allow pets and all cottages are non-smoking.
Wi-Fi
Free Wi-Fi is provided in all the cottages and the Leisure Facilities. The Wi-Fi is provided by Starlink.
Reading Room
The Reading Room provides a tranquil area in which guests may relax and read. It is open from 8.00am – 9.00pm and looks north to Lundy Island.
Gym Facilities
The very spacious Gym is equipped with treadmill, cross trainer, stepper, rower, cycle, recumbent cycle, free weights, ab trainer, exercise bench and exercise mats. The Gym looks north to Lundy Island.
It is available to guests aged over sixteen and open from 8.00am – 9.00pm.
- Sweat towels are provided.
Spa Facilities
The Spa is available from 8.00am – 9.00pm. The area is air conditioned and looks east across the Lily Pool and lawns up to Downe Wood.

- two complete settings of crockery and cutlery for each guest; and

- Full oil fired central heating under the guests’ control;
- Log burners or cast iron living flame stoves;
