Vine Cottage, Sleeps Two – 1 Bedroom

A luxury one bedroom self catering holiday cottage.

The Eastern end of an “L” shaped milking parlour built just after the Battle of Waterloo, Vine has doors to both the Inner Courtyard that sits to the South of Vine and to the Cottage Gardens that sit to the East. Vine looks East to the rockery, the Gunnera border and then to the Lily Pond that lies beyond. The view from the French Window and Juliet Balcony in the scissor beamed bedroom is lovely. The guest looks across to our lily pond and then to the dense thicket that fills this part of Bursdon Moor. Beyond the wood are the cliff tops of The Hartland Peninsula.

Sitting out late at night in perfect stillness, guests form a gently attachment to the Peninsula and begin to question whether they really are still in England!
