Japonica Cottage is an ideal one bedroom self catering holiday cottage for relaxing peaceful holidays, romantic breaks, short breaks and weekend breaks for couples or friends sharing.
This cottage looks out onto a small courtyard area which in turn looks out towards a central stone circle within the larger courtyard formed by the cottages and Downe House. The small courtyard area is gravelled and bounded by a low stone wall with garden table and chairs.
The ground floor has two original oak beams running from front to back that creates a lovely atmosphere for the delightful open plan living, dining and kitchen area which is fully equipped and includes a dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. The living area has a living flame electric fire, 2-seater sofa, armchair, television with freeview box and DVD The dining area has an antique pine table and four dining chairs.
The first floor has an open plan bedroom with en-suite shower room with two large window lights that gives the feeling of sleeping under the stars on a clear night. It has a Queen bed (5′) and single bed, two bedside tables, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobe and a three quarters length mirror hung on the wall.
