Hydrangea is a very romantic self catering cottage on one level which is ideal for relaxing holidays, romantic breaks, weekend breaks or short breaks in a tranquil retreat in beautiful landscaped gardens and grounds.
This cottage has an inner courtyard with its own garden table and chairs which is gravelled and bounded by a low stone wall and looks out towards a central stone circle within the larger courtyard formed by the cottages and Downe House. The courtyard is shared with Japonica Cottage.
The living area is spacious with full length doors and windows opening into the courtyard, has vaulted and beamed ceiling, a living flame electric fire, two 2-seater sofas, a television with free view box, a DVD player, and a fully equipped kitchen which includes a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave, oven and washer/dryer. The dining area had an antique pine table and four dining chairs.
The bedroom has a Queen bed (5′) with an en-suite shower bathroom, two bedside tables, chest of drawers, fitted wardrobe, a three quarters length mirror hung on the wall.
