Ivy
Ivy Cottage is a spacious two bedroomed self catering holiday cottage.
The two bedrooms are on the ground floor and both have en suite shower rooms. The master bedroom has a five foot double bed and the second bedroom has twin beds. Both bedrooms are large double bedrooms with two bedside cabinets and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and both have three quarter length mirrors on the walls.
The living, dining and kitchen area (some 16′ x 32′) is on the first floor. This single room is the “wow factor” in Ivy. Most visitors are simply delighted the first time they come up the stairs in Ivy.
The first floor has views over the Atlantic north to Lundy Island through one of two full length French windows that look west and north. Traditional scissor trusses dating from the middle of the nineteenth century run the length of the cottage.
In the living area are two large three seater sofas, a 32 digital television with dvd and a log fire.
In the dining area is a dining table with four chairs and two glass cabinets.
The kitchen is a fully equipped and fitted modern kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, washer-drier, dishwasher, fridge freezer and ample storage cupboards. The cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils are of a good standard (e.g thick bottomed pans) and are complete matching sets. The kitchen is fully equipped to include such items as garlic crushers and salad spinners.
Ivy is a wonderful cottage with space, character and views.
Honeysuckle, Ivy, Clematis and Vine Cottages were created out of a large two storey “L” shaped barn and open out into a charming inner courtyard area. This is a glorious sheltered sun trap. Ivy has a garden table and chairs in this inner courtyard area.
