Hydrangea Cottage, Sleeps Two – 1 Bedroom

A luxury one bedroom holiday cottage

Built in the late 1800s, Hydrangea was the stable in which the farmer’s thoroughbred hunter was kept together with the groom’s sleeping accommodation and the dedicated tack room. Hydrangea is now a single-story cottage with high vaulted ceilings and a particularly spacious open plan living, dining and kitchen area.

Through large French Windows guests in Hydrangea look out across the Inner Courtyard shared with Japonica and beyond towards the central Stone Circle within the larger Cottage Courtyard formed by the cottages and Downe House. Within the Stone Circle a small fountain plays and the sound of running water provides background music through the day.
